JOB GOAL: Support duties for direct and indirect clinical hours within a residential program for teens diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including autism.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Behavior plan development under the direct supervision of the Lead BCBA.
- Program goal development and updates under the direct supervision of the Lead BCBA.
- Provide coaching and support to the direct care staff under the supervision of the Lead BCBA.
- Program material creation (when applicable) in collaboration with the intern team.
- Participate in Behavioral Health Index Assessments for individual clients.
- Participate in Essentials for Living Assessments for individual clients.
- Data input and analysis for individual clients.
- Oversee the group milieu reinforcement system and its implementation with the intern team.
- Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision meetings bi-weekly.
- Develop social skills programming and running social skills groups.
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. The employee must maintain a consistent work schedule and be available during the assigned hours to perform the duties of this role.
- Other duties as assigned by supervising BCBA clinicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s level Behavior Analysis program.
- Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in clinical practice.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services, and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency.
