GOAL: The ABA Intern will perform a variety of support and administrative duties under the supervision of BCBA clinicians within a residential program for teens diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including autism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and assist with implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions and behavior plans under the direction of BCBA clinicians.
- Observe and document behavior, assisting in data collection and analysis to inform treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding client progress and behavior strategies.
- Support the creation and modification of individualized behavior support plans.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and structured environment for residents.
- Learn and engage in training sessions focused on ABA principles, ethics, and clinical practices.
- Help with administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with agency policies and licensing standards.
- Other duties as assigned by supervising BCBA clinicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Psychology, Human Services, Sociology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in working with individuals diagnosed with autism, particularly within a residential setting.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in clinical practice.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services, and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency.
