Intensive Outpatient Services has an opening for a master’s level counseling student looking to gain hands-on experience working primarily with adolescents. Join our team at the Kent County location, where we focus on providing comprehensive, holistic treatment to adolescents.
Program Details:
- Client Population: Adolescents
- Group Schedule: Three times per week, three hours per meeting
- Model of Treatment: We utilize a motivation-to-change model that is both adolescent-friendly and holistic. Our approach addresses not only substance abuse but also other critical areas, including anger management, life skills, and relationship skills.
- Interventions: Our methods are primarily experiential, offering students a rich opportunity to engage with and learn from direct client interactions.
Please note that our internship and practicum placements are unpaid.
QUALIFICATIONS: Open to Masters Level MSW or Professional Counselor Internship Candidates
