Sales Executive | Grand Rapids, MI
The Sales Executive is responsible for net new sales for Vervint. You will leverage your experience in technology and strong relationships within the industry to open new doors to introduce and sell Vervint’s solutions and capabilities to new clients.
What You'll Accomplish:
  • Land new logos that align to Vervint's strategic roadmap with penetration greater than $400k in revenue.
  • Focus on outbound prospect and create new opportunity pipeline to hit annual sales targets.
  • Position and sell offerings aligned to Vervint's corporate strategies.
  • Nurture and close inbound leads.
  • Ensure timely and accurate portfolio forecasting and management of the full sales pipeline.
  • Manage customer communication and escalation.
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship with customer stakeholders and executives.
  • Understand customer's business goals and help assemble Vervint executive sponsors, practice leaders, or delivery resources to create strategies to support them.
  • Develop a sales plan for new prospects, including identification, developing and closing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposal pricing focused on maximizing value.
  • Work closely with principals, practice leads, delivery leads, and team members from other departments to ensure the highest quality of delivery to delight the customer.
  • When time is right, work with Key Account Managers to transition account for long-term growth.
What You'll Bring:
  • Demonstrated ability and maturity to sell and build relationships with C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated hunting and prospecting skills required.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with consultative and insight-based sales approaches to penetrate new accounts.
  • Strong track record of meeting sales objectives such as quota and productivity requirements.
  • Customer oriented problem solving and analytical mindset.
  • Certified sales methodology training preferred.
  • Possess a growth mindset.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in technology sales, business development, or management consulting.
