Position Summary
The Lead RN assists the Practice Leader or Practice Manager with oversight of day‑to‑day clinic operations. This role organizes and directs activities within the work unit, including assigning and monitoring the work of others, while following established procedures. The Lead RN is an effective communicator who can assess situations, exercise discretion and sound judgment, and act in the best interest of patients and customers.
This position may spend a substantial portion of time performing the same duties as other staff within the department while providing leadership and operational support.
Support the Practice Leader or Manager with daily clinic operations
Organize and coordinate work unit activities to ensure efficient workflow
Assign, monitor, and support staff work performance
Serve as a clinical and operational resource for team members
Promote patient‑centered care and excellent customer service
Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Required: Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum: Two (2) years of experience in a medical office setting
Demonstrated leadership experience required
