Position Summary:

Hauenstein 2 is a 16 bed multi-specialty step-down unit dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. This fast-paced environment provides RNs with the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population requiring a higher level of monitoring and support, while working alongside a highly skilled, collaborative team.

RNs on our step-down unit build strong clinical foundations across multiple specialties, enhancing critical thinking, time management, and advanced assessment skills in a supportive and team-oriented setting. The unit fosters a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence, with opportunities for skill development and career advancement.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

  • Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.

  • In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

  • Licensed in the State of Michigan

  • Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months)

  • Experience as an RN required.
