Position Summary:
The Billing Representative is involved in the billing of private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid.
What you will do:
Answers incoming calls from Referrals and customers placing orders
Request Prescriptions for customers as needed
- Obtains insurance authorization and recertification as needed
- Maintains accurate and complete records concerning billing activity and inventory tracking.
- Examines insurance explanation of benefits to assure responsibility and identify rejected insurance billings. Rework and rebill rejected accounts in a timely manner.
- Supplies supervisor with current account status for collection evaluation
What you will need:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience required.
