Description:

Registered Nurse
SUMMARY: Coordinates total patient nursing care for patients, participated in-patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standard for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

72hrs per week 7a-7:30p every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

What you will do:

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
  • For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
  • Required to obtain NRP certification within 3 months of orientation

Special Care Nursery RNs shall complete NRP within 3 months of orientation and STABLE within 6 months of nursery orientation. Orientation to include portions of NOEP (AWHONN'S Neonatal Orientation Education Program) Training Program and shadowing of the NNP's assigned. Responsible to maintain nursery competencies and annual education requirements.
