Job Summary:
Join our patient-focused team at the Sparta Health Clinic as a Registered Nurse, working four 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (phones open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). This full-time, first-shift position offers no weekends or holidays, Day 1 benefits, and unlimited career growth opportunities within Trinity Health. Position Summary:
This role includes a variety of shared responsibilities in a fast-paced clinic environment. The RN uses nursing assessment skills and clinical protocols to make informed decisions and provide high-quality patient care.
What You Will Do:
- Perform telephone triage and medication refills
- Conduct new consult evaluations and patient education
- Support clinical and clerical functions, including Medical Assistant duties
- Collaborate with the care team to meet patient and clinic goals
- Promote a safe and efficient care environment
What You Will Need:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Grand Rapids candidates with ADN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years
- Valid RN license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- New graduates must apply to the RN Residency Program (offered in February, July, and October)
- Specialty credentialing preferred based on clinical nursing practice area
