Position Summary:
The RN in the Infusion Center oversees and coordinates care for a specific specialty area and assigned caseload. This includes facilitating appropriate care, assisting patients and families in navigating treatment, and ensuring efficient progression through the healthcare continuum.
What You Will Do:
- Complete comprehensive health assessments, including physical, psychological, social, environmental, financial, and functional status
- Develop treatment goals and care plans in collaboration with providers
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource for staff and patients
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Monitor and adjust care plans through interdisciplinary collaboration
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to support individualized patient care
What You Will Need:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Grand Rapids candidates with ADN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years
- Current RN license in the State of Michigan
- Chemo/Biotherapy Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
