CNP Tech II - Night Shift
Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the CNP Tech II is responsible for performing electrodiagnostic testing using the recommended lab standards and in accordance with ASET (American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists) and AAET (American Association of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists). The CNP Tech II is responsible for performing two or more modalities of Electrodiagnostic testing, including but not limited to Electroencephalograms, Evoked Potentials, or Nerve Conduction Studies. They are additionally responsible for patient preparation, education, maintaining END Labs, troubleshooting and cleaning equipment. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization. Works within a flexible environment (hours, days, and location). Will participate in on-call rotation as indicated. The CNP Tech II will also participate in precepting students and assisting with training of new CNP Trainees and CNP Tech I. The CNP Tech II will assist the CNP Lead Techs with assigned duties as needed.
*This role will cover shifts at all four hospital locations.
Education: Min High School Graduate or Graduate of END Program preferred
Experience: Min 1 year of END experience
Competent in performing ALL testing modalities within the Department
CPR certified
Effective Communication Skills
Effective Computer Skills
Valid Driver’s License
