Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Manager – Operations is a certified pharmacy technician responsible for managing daily operations, leading pharmacy staff, and supporting clinical and supply chain processes across acute care and ambulatory settings. This role ensures excellence in medication safety, compliance, quality, financial stewardship, and technology use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, training, and oversight to pharmacy technicians
- Drive operational alignment and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
- Oversee procurement, distribution, and inventory systems
- Support quality improvement and medication use initiatives
- Manage budgets, KPIs, and strategic plans in coordination with pharmacy leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (e.g., DPLA, MBA)
- Minimum 5 years as a certified pharmacy technician
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacy management experience
- Active state licensure and certification (CPhT required; CPhT-Adv preferred)
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
