Description:
Status: Full Time
- 10:30 am to 11:00 pm
- 36 hours per week
- Every third weekend
What you will need:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification.
- Registered Nurse Aide (CENA) in the State of MI OR successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology College Course OR current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with successful completion of a nursing fundamentals course. Must provide evidence of current nursing program enrollment on an annual basis.
- Additional certifications considered: EMT/Medical First Responder, Medical Assistant, LPN.
- Equivalent work experience and/or equivalent training may also be considered.
What you will do:
- Demonstrates ability to care for the needs of patients in the department.
- Measures and records all patient intake, vital signs and documents appropriately.
- Collects urine, sputum and stool specimens and properly.
- Perform specialty procedures as assigned: wound care, simple splinting, EKG’s, etc.
