Day ShiftDescription:
Follows established procedures and guidelines while performing a wide variety of interventional procedures. Assists radiologist, cardiologists, and nurses in providing quality patient care during interventional procedures. Responsible for the production of high-quality diagnostic radiographs and / or imaging and intraprocedure scrub.
Minimum: Completion of an approved American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) program.
Minimum: Registered Technologist or registry-eligible with registry completed within one year of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Minimum: Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, working in a hospital Radiology Department. Exposure to invasive procedures.
Direct patient care with frequent exposure to radiation, infectious disease, sharp instruments and hazardous liquids and possible exposure to electrical shock. Complex invasive procedures lend to a moderate to high stress level, and require a high quality of work.
IR or Cath Lab experience preferred
PART TIME POSITION - 2-3 shifts M-F, On call, one weeknight and every 3-4 weekends.
