| General Description (Summary description of the primary duties and objectives of the position.) | |||
| Sets up and operates hand or robotic wood finish equipment for moderate skill, routine finishing operations of manufactured wood products. Finishes or does a portion of the finishing of parts, subassemblies or assembled product. May mix finish materials to specified color, consistency, or viscosity. May also do other finishing roles such as finish technician, spray equipment repair, or other moderately skilled roles as assigned. May operate baking oven and monitor temperatures and bake cycle times. | |||

Skills/Abilities· Able to work standing constantly and with frequent bending and twisting. · Able to occasionally lift 35 lbs. from floor to waist; lift 50lbs from waist to shoulders; and push / pull up to 15 lbs. · Able to frequently carry 35-55 lbs. · Able to reach constantly forward, frequently laterally and occasionally over the shoulders. · Able to occasionally grasp with moderate force. · Able to rotate to other work in the zone, department, division or plant as required. · May be required to read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure that the finishing materials and final finish are within quality specifications. · Able to visually inspect for defects. · Must be able to apply finishes to specified thicknesses and quality standards. · Must be able to load, clean, adjust, and maintain spray equipment. · Must be able to meet required takt/cycle time as established. | |||
Education/Experience· High school diploma or equivalent may be required. | |||
