We are hiring a Facilities Project Manager, who will manage all aspects of facilities and real estate construction projects. We are seeking an individual who will manage a wide variety of multiple projects within North America. This person will oversee and coordinate projects from inception through completion. This role requires a broad skillset in the built environment to ensure we maintain a safe, positive, and professional experience for employees and customers.
What You Will Be Doing:
- In charge of small, medium and large major facilities construction projects. Projects may include renovations or new construction of any/all types of corporate facilities (offices, plants, showrooms, or other special facilities related projects).
- Determines project scope, objectives, budget, schedule and teams, to effectively implement the desired project results in a timely and successful manner.
- Oversees a combination of internal and external resources to achieve the desired outcomes. External resources include architects, engineers, designers, contractors and specialized consultants as required on a project basis.
- Typically, this person would manage multiple projects on a concurrent basis.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field: Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering or Real Estate.
- 3-7 years' experience leading building construction or renovation project teams ($10k - 5 million)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the facilities project delivery process including feasibility, programming, schematic design, design development, construction, implementation, occupancy, and measurement.
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications such as Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
- Strong financial orientation for budget preparation, project financial reporting, and internal financial processes (e.g. MAR, invoices, purchase orders).
- Knowledge of construction means, methods and material with the ability to negotiate contracts and agreements.
