We are hiring a 2025 Order Fulfillment Summer Intern to partner with our Dealers and Field Sales!
What you will be doing:
- You'll develop an understanding of the Steelcase order fulfillment value stream, and optimize supply chain, manufacturing, and delivery efficiencies, resulting in a great customer experience
- You will be supporting systematic tasks within a variety of order fulfillment groups
- You will be collaborating cross functionally across Operations and with other interns to identify opportunities and make process improvement suggestions
- You’ll be working on strategic projects to create new processes or enhance existing ones
- You will have the opportunity to lead meetings, present in front of leaders, and develop/improve professional skills

You will be part of a collaborative Global Order Fulfilment Network! We are a closely connected team with a common purpose of partnering to support our Dealers and the Field Sales teams. Required skills and Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in an applicable discipline from an accredited school
- Pursuing a degree in supply chain management, business, or a related degree
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Reliable transportation to and from the office is recommended, many of our sites do not have access to public transportation
- Requires an ability to understand and communicate complex technology, both in writing and verbally
- Basic knowledge of order fulfillment procedures
- Customer service skills
- Able to exercise good judgement on policy, timing and problem solving
- Excellent communication is a must; able to converse and offer suggestions, information and alternatives to customers needs
- Able to effectively make formal presentations to dealers, designers and customers as needed
