Steelcase
We are hiring a 2025 Mechanical Designer Sumer Intern – Grand Rapids, MI that will own valuable mechanical design projects that provide new value to the company. You will be provided with mentorship through the development and design lifecycle with a keen focus on sustainability. We have a major focus on learning by doing. CAD will be a primary focus of the role, but you will also be exposed to brainstorming, cost analysis, the product development process, prototyping, and document control processes.
You’ll learn quickly this company offers a diversity of products and materiality. While you design the product, you will learn and apply the design thinking process.
