Position Summary:
This role is responsible for performing financial and operational analysis on labor and scheduling. Make recommendations on findings within retail labor budgeting, scheduling, and workforce management.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Participate in business decisions through sales forecasting and trend analysis, value-added assessments, and risk/opportunity analysis.
Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and reporting including but not limited to monthly variance analysis and explanation, profitability, and sales analysis.
Evaluate labor standards to assist with workforce management decision making.
Consult and educate associates and management on financial analysis and reports to assist with solving forecasting and scheduling issues.
Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives; provide ad hoc sales and financials analysis as requested.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Prepare weekly/quarterly budget forecasts on sales and labor.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree (required) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Two years of accounting/and or financial analysis experience
Excellent financial/spreadsheet skills.
Strong analytical and effective decision-making skills, budgeting and planning skills, attention to detail, strong initiative, and ability to prioritize multiple priorities.
Update labor standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Workforce Management tools
Systems knowledge or the ability to adapt quickly to different systems is important.
