The Opportunity The Greenskeeper is responsible for maintaining and caring for the greens, fairways, tees, and other areas of the golf course or green space. This position requires a strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques to ensure optimal playing conditions and aesthetic appeal of the grounds.

What You'll Do - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming grass on greens, fairways, and roughs.
- Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of turf and plants.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to schedule and safety guidelines.
- Repair divots, ball marks, and other damage to turf.
- Install and maintain landscaping features such as flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
- Assist in renovating and constructing new golf course features or landscaping projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance facilities and equipment storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and golf course patrons.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing job duties.
What You'll Bring - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in turf management, landscaping, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of turfgrass varieties, growth patterns, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one (depending on local regulations).
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
