PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Produce and direct high-profile university video projects.
2. Capture and edit video content for a variety of university projects.
3. Collaborate closely with the supervisor to film and edit high-priority university videos.
4. Contribute to the development and management of the student video team.
5. Assist with documenting campus community activities, including essential campus events, interviews, and b-roll.
6. Plan, film, edit, and deliver videos to entities across the university.
7. Contribute to innovative solutions for communication delivery.
8. Pitch and contribute to Creative Team ideation.
9. Manage and contribute to the Video server and archive system.
10. Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Bachelor’s degree or five or more (5+) years of relevant experience required, preferably in Film/Video, Communications, Art, or similar.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience, preferably in higher education.
• Advanced video knowledge/skills, including the ability to film in many different situations and with lighting equipment.
• Computer proficient with experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and calendars simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate with others regularly.
• Ability to travel to off-campus locations.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy video equipment
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Photography experience is preferred.
