Position Title: Clinical Initiatives Specialist
Position Type: Full Time EAP – Executive, Administrative, Professional
The GVSU Health Compliance Office is seeking a full-time staff member to collaborate with health programs supporting student clinical placements by identifying placement opportunities, facilitating required onboarding documents, managing the recognition program for preceptors, maintaining the placement database and creating various placement reports as requested.

Responsibilities – Essential Functions: The Clinical Initiatives Specialist will:
· Coordinate fit testing for academic programs and manage staff competencies.
· Assist with health compliance audits and student communication.
· Assist with laboratory, immunization, and other health compliance document processing.
· Assist with affiliation agreement contract coordination.
· Assist with department communication including website maintenance.
· Promote professionalism, confidentiality, cooperation and good working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and clinical practice sites.
· Performs other duties as required/assigned by manger.
Salary: Minimum starting salary of $61,000; commensurate with experience and degree
