The position is for one year with the potential for renewal.
The position entails teaching four (4) courses each semester with no service or research requirements. This position will be responsible for teaching EDF 115: Introduction to Education: An exploration of Schooling in America plus other courses as determined by department need (potential courses: EDF 315: Diverse Perspectives on Education and EDF 485: The Context of Educational Issues [the teaching intern capstone]).
Candidates should have: experience teaching social foundations of education courses and/or documented coursework/training in social foundations of education; ability to teach courses that fulfill General Education United States Diversity, and Social and Behavioral Sciences requirements; a demonstrated commitment to inclusive pedagogical practices; and a commitment to advancing educational equity.
