$40-$45,000, commensurate with experience

Primary Duties:
Lead College of Computing K-12 Outreach Program.
Plan and coordinate extracurricular programming for K-12 schools.
Develop and maintain relationships with schools in the region.
Schedule, plan, and facilitate outreach events on campus or off-site.
Communicate and coordinate with faculty to participate in outreach activities.
Provide guidance and help faculty develop K-12 outreach programming.
Supervising graduate and undergraduate students working in the area of outreach.
Supervise K-12 outreach staff.
Assist in the development of external funding sources and grant writing to facilitate K-12 outreach.
Develop strategic initiatives converting outreach participants to future students.
Coordinate with the Dean’s Cabinet and Admissions to collect prospect data and create communication workflows to engage potential future students.
Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree.
At least one year of experience in Higher Education Outreach in Computing or related field.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Master’s Degree.
A degree in a computing or closely related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in organizing and leading outreach activities.
Experience working with external funding sources.
Grant writing experience.
Previous community engagement with an organization.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
