We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Executive Assistant & Board Governance team member to support the EVP/CFO and Board of Directors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and enjoys coordinating complex priorities across leadership and stakeholders. By coordinating meetings, managing priorities, and supporting strategic initiatives, you help enable effective decision-making and organizational alignment at the highest level. What You’ll Do Support Board Governance & Operations - Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes
- Maintain governance records, policies, and compliance documentation
- Serve as liaison between board members and executive leadership
Provide Executive-Level Support - Manage EVP/CFO calendar, priorities, meetings, and travel
- Prepare and distribute board-facing materials, reports, and presentations
- Track key priorities, action items, and follow-ups across leadership
Coordinate Cross-Functional Communication - Act as a central point of contact across departments and stakeholders
- Support executive meetings and external engagements tied to board priorities
- Ensure timely communication and alignment on key initiatives
Support Strategic Initiatives & Engagement - Assist with board engagement in membership, fundraising, and events
- Coordinate board participation in high-profile programs and initiatives
- Partner with internal teams to support strategic projects and priorities
Manage Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Track and report on board engagement, attendance, and contributions
- Support dashboards, reports, and materials for leadership and board review
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and processes
Volunteer and Talent Integration - Assist with creating opportunities for board members to engage with volunteers
- Organize board and volunteer collaboration activities to strengthen culture and understanding
- Develop and maintain a board talent matrix to identify recruitment needs and leverage board members' skills
What You Bring - 5+ years of experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or boards
- Experience working with C-level leadership and/or Board of Directors
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Experience coordinating complex meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Preferred: Experience in a nonprofit, arts, or cultural organization. Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or project management systems. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
