We are seeking a Coordinator, Concert Catering Logistics who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and enjoys coordinating complex backstage operations to ensure seamless service execution.

What You’ll Do
Coordinate Backstage Catering Operations
  • Oversee setup, service flow, and breakdown of concert catering operations
  • Align with touring staff, production teams, and culinary partners
  • Ensure timing, deliverables, and service expectations are met
Manage Service Flow & Event Execution
  • Monitor timelines, transitions, and rapid backstage changes
  • Adapt to evolving needs, last-minute requests, and tight turnarounds
  • Support seamless execution during high-pressure se
Maintain Culinary & Operational Standards
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all service areas
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies to prevent disruptions
Support Guest & Artist Experience
  • Provide professional, responsive service to artists, crews, and stakeholders
  • Accommodate dietary needs, special requests, and menu adjustments
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all backstage interactions
Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with culinary, events, and production teams to maintain alignment
  • Communicate updates clearly across fast-moving environments
  • Support onboarding or guidance of team members during service
What You Bring
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional training and education in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Customer Service preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in catering, food & beverage, events, or hospitality
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume service environments
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay composed under pressure
  • Strong customer service and guest engagement skills
  • Certifications: First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Alcohol service certification (TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting concerts, touring events, or backstage operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and catering workflows. Familiarity with POS or service-related systems

Working Conditions: This role operates in a concert-driven, high-energy environment across multiple indoor and outdoor locations, including backstage catering areas, green rooms, production spaces, and service zones. The schedule is event-based and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hours that may vary depending on concert and tour needs. The position requires frequent movement between front-of-house and back-of-house areas, including navigating crowded backstage corridors, loading zones, and storage areas. Work environments may include dim or changing lighting, amplified sound, and active production settings. Regular interactions with artists, touring personnel, vendors, and internal teams is expected, requiring professionalism and discretion. Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperatures, and noise levels is common, as well as work near food preparation areas, equipment, and high-traffic spaces.
Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often 6-8 hours or more during events. The position involves lifting, carrying, and transporting items such as catering supplies, trays, and equipment (typically 20-25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds). Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling are required during setup, service, and breakdown. The ability to navigate stairs, ramps, uneven surfaces, and busy backstage environments is necessary. Fine motor skills are required for handling service items, arranging setups, and operating basic equipment. The role requires clear communication in person and via radio or written methods, as well as the ability to observe details and maintain safety standards in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
