FWF is seeking a dedicated Talent Recruiter to own outbound candidate sourcing and pipeline development for sales roles within the logistics industry. This role is 90% focused on finding, engaging, and qualifying candidates, not managing inbound applicants or running the recruiting lifecycle.
Your success will be measured by the quality and quantity of consistent candidates you can deliver, and the success of those candidates in their first year of employment.
This is a great role for someone who loves to hunt, is an excellent networker, understands how to translate a simple ICP into real people, and takes pride in building strong candidate pipelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, ATS tools, referrals, networking, and more
- Translate role requirements and ICPs into targeted sourcing plans
- Identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates through personalized outreach
- Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess fit, interest, and alignment
- Maintain clean, organized candidate pipelines and sourcing notes in ATS
- Get creative with outbound sourcing strategies!
- Build trust and excitement around the company, role, and long-term opportunity
- Partner with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to hand off qualified candidates smoothly
- Partner with recruiting, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to understand hiring priorities
- Occasionally support career fairs or in-person recruiting events
- Occasionally support interview efforts
- Share sourcing insights, market trends, and candidate feedback with the recruiting team
What we’re looking for:
Required:
- 2-5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience (corporate or agency)
- Proven ability to turn an ICP into a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Strong outbound communication skills (email, phone, in-person)
- Experience sourcing for sales, logistics, operations, or similar competitive, entry-level roles
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning your function end-to-end
- Comfortable working towards performance-based initiatives
- Extremely outgoing – comfortable initiating for coffee/lunch with a candidate, reaching out to people you don’t know with a personalized approach, nurturing candidates, developing long-term relationships, etc.
- Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, Handshake, etc.
- Experience working in a CRM – whether in a previous sales or recruiting role
- Experience supporting high-volume/growth-stage hiring
- Must be able to work on-site in our Kentwood, MI headquarters, with potential for partial WFH opportunities following a 90-day employment period
Strongly preferred:
- Experience sourcing within logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation
- Familiarity with ATS platforms
