Software Engineering Lead - Front End Focused - Remote
DISHER is currently partnering with a global leader in service supply chain solutions on their need for a Software Engineering Lead. In this role, you will combine technical leadership with active development responsibilities. You will be responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of modern customer-facing applications.
You will shape modern, cloud-ready solutions, guides architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while ensuring the delivery of secure, performant, and reliable software systems.

What you'll get to do:
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, and/or Angular
- Own the front-end architecture: component design, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility
- Set and enforce front-end engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across the team
- Build responsive, performant, and visually polished UIs that deliver exceptional user experiences
- Integrate AI-powered services (Azure AI, OpenAI) into the front-end product experience
- Encourage effective use of AI-powered development tools to improve engineering velocity and code quality
- Architect and implement scalable RESTful and event-driven APIs to support front-end products
- Utilize Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, monitoring) in the delivery of front-end solutions
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps
- Contribute hands-on to back-end features and critical system areas when needed (C#/.NET a plus)
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers building customer-facing applications, including direct reports
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across front-end and full-stack work
- Partner with QA, Product Management, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to cross-team technical alignment
- Help define the long-term technical direction for customer-facing systems

What will make you successful:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience
- Strong, demonstrable proficiency in modern front-end development — React and/or Next.js preferred; Angular considered
- Deep understanding of front-end fundamentals: JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility
- Experience building and deploying applications in cloud-based environments (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives
- Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
- Experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with Azure AI or OpenAI APIs
- Exposure to data analytics, ML integration, or RAG-based systems
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms or scalable enterprise systems
