Sales Manager – Grand Rapids, MI
DISHER is currently partnering with a collaborative, community-oriented organization based in Grand Rapids to hire a Sales Manager. We are looking someone with a diverse skill set who has the ability to identify market opportunities for a variety of services, an event venue, business consulting services, and landscaping services.

What you'll get to do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, nonprofit, educational, and private sectors
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized sales presentations to prospective clients
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking, and pre-bid meetings
- Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic feedback to enhance sales approaches
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in professional services, events, consulting, or similar industries
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable engaging with a variety of audiences, including executives and community leaders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passionate about community transformation and social impact
