DISHER is currently partnering with an architecture and engineering firm that specializes in the food and beverage industry and is looking for a Project Architect to join their team. This position involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
This position can be located in Holland, Michigan, Denver, Colorado, Fresno, California or Oakland, California.

What you will get to do:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to industry standards and client specifications
- Programming
- Lead project design, coordination, and communication, including all phases of a project from SD to CD & CA
- Actively lead project work with a cross functional team with supervision by Principals
- Apply expert knowledge of architectural concepts, practices, and procedures within the architectural industry.
- Quality review of production drawings, models, specifications, etc
- Client interactions: Preparing studies, concepts, reports, etc., for client meetings
- Provide leadership and guidance for the team, including mentoring designers and Revit technicians.
- Project travel: periodic out of state trips for design meetings and CA.
What will make you successful:
- Completion of a professional degree in Architecture (B Arch. or M Arch)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Ability to travel
- Registered Architect preferred
- Candidates should have a sound knowledge of technical design principles as well as architectural production and should have active experience producing Construction Documents using Revit
- Required proficiency with the latest versions of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Proficiency with BIM360, SketchUp, Navisworks, and rendering software is desirable.
- Effective team player with effective communications skills
- Candidates must demonstrate an ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also working closely with design team to produce high quality project results.
- Experience working with permit authorities
