Controls Engineer – Zeeland, Michigan
DISHER is currently seeking an Automation Engineer for our Manufacturing Technology team in Zeeland, Michigan. This role will give someone an opportunity for exposure to a wide range of automated systems included (but not limited to) PLCs, HMIs, AGVs/AMRs, SCADA, Schematic Layouts, and more. This person will also have an opportunity to impact many types of manufacturing industries and various types of equipment.

What you will get to do:
- Program, troubleshoot, and edit PLCs
- Gain exposure to SCADA and other technologies as required
- Assist in designing and editing HMIs and similar systems
- Take part in DISHER's new AMR and AGV initiative
- Assist customers in completing their automation goals and initiatives.
What will make you successful:
- Interest in training and gaining experience within industrial automation equipment and systems
- Previous intern or full time experience in PLCs, SCADA, or AGVs
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar engineering degree
- Self-driven with the desire to grow and continually learn
