Product Development Engineer – Grand Rapids, Michigan
DISHER is partnering with a motorcycle manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan to fill their Design Engineer position. In this role, you will design and develop vehicle systems, architecture, and powertrain systems for a growing motorcycle brand.

What You'll Get to Do:
- Develop vehicle systems, architecture, and powertrain systems
- Work independently with minimal guidance from leadership
- Manage simultaneous projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
- Collaborate within a team environment
- Utilize CAE software for tasks such as Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Multi Body Dynamic Solvers
- Utilize CAD software for design tasks
What Will Make You Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in designing vehicle systems, vehicle architecture, or powertrain systems development
- Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as welding, forging, casting, and injection molding
- Ability to use both written and verbal communication effectively at all levels of an organization
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
