SUMMARY: This position assists preschool, elementary-age students, and sometimes their parents with basic reading skills. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the University’s mission, vision, and values which include diversity, equity and inclusion. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist preschool and elementary age students with basic reading skills. May include teaching parents how to read to their child. Listen to students as they read aloud. Read aloud to students and parents. Conduct special projects, research and assignments as needed. Provide GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers. Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values. Perform other duties as assigned.
