This position is applicable for CT, Tech 1 with less than two years of related work experience and CT, Tech 2 with two years or more of related work experience.

About Pennock Hospital

We offer a wide range of imaging that includes Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), PET/CT, Mammography, and Ultrasound. We are a fundamental part of the care team -- we use the latest imaging technology to help with the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.

Scope of work

CT Technologist provides healthcare services, applying computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Qualifications

  • Required associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or
  • CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Or ARC 90 Days required
