Data Engineer. Priority Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan. NO VISA SPONSORSHIP OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION. Duties: Develop and deploy ELT/ETL processes across multiple sources, targets and tools; Communicate with data consumers to improve processes connecting to data; Develop and deploy self-service reporting assets to provide data exploration capabilities to end users; Develop, create and modify data ingestion pipelines and workflows that align with technical specifications; Provide support for incidents related to data warehouses, datasets, and data pipelines, including operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance. Requires: Bachelor's or foreign equiv. in computer science, data science, or related, plus 36 mths as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or related. Above experience must include 1 yr. in the health insurance industry and 3 yrs: 1) Architecting ETL pipelines using Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow; 2) Designing cloud-native data architectures using Snowflake; 3) Developing data models using Oracle and MongoDB; and 4) Implementing real-time data streaming and algorithms using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
