About the Practice
The Internal Medicine Residency Clinic is a dynamic teaching practice dedicated to improving healthcare through education, research, and compassionate patient care. Our resident physicians work alongside experienced supervising physicians, creating a collaborative learning environment that fosters professional growth while delivering high-quality care to our patients. Our team consists of 8 Attending Physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 62 Resident Physicians, all working together to serve a diverse patient population with a wide range of healthcare needs. As a teaching clinic, we are committed to developing the next generation of physicians while ensuring patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based care. Our patients come from all backgrounds and often present with complex medical and social needs. We are proud to serve many underserved members of our community and are committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Scope of work
The ACT plays an essential role in supporting continuity of care for our unique patient population. Working closely with attending physicians, resident physicians, and other members of the care team, the ACT helps ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. In this environment, the ACT is more than a clinical support team member—they are an integral part of the educational mission of the practice. ACTs collaborate with residents throughout their training, helping to support their development while expanding their own clinical knowledge and skills. This position offers the opportunity to learn advanced healthcare concepts, work with complex patient cases, and contribute directly to outstanding patient care.
