You can make a difference in patients' lives as an Environmental Service Technician Lead with Corewell Health. In this role, you will assist the Supervisor in coordinating and facilitating daily operations, addressing employee and customer concerns, and ensuring that all daily tasks are completed. You will also be responsible for conducting quality audit inspections, assigning and adjusting work schedules, coordinating employee work assignments, and providing ongoing support and instruction to Environmental Services team members. Communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure continuity of service and help foster a positive work environment.
Assigns and adjusts work schedules as necessary.
Coordinates and inspects employee work assignments and completes quality assurance inspections.
Provides ongoing instruction to Environmental Services employees according to department standards.
Communicates and collaborates with other members of the team and across departments in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Cleans and maintains equipment used in performance of duties and stores it properly.
Acts on behalf of the upline assisting in resolving work-related issues, otherwise reporting issues to upline.
Assumes ownership of various daily operations and initiatives.
May be expected to work across department sites for coverage and business need.
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant experience public service and or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience
Preferred
1 year of relevant experience Leadership
CRT-Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) - AHE Association for the Healthcare Environment 1 Year.
