About the Unit
Our urology clinic, located in the Blodgett Care Center directly behind the hospital, is a high-functioning outpatient specialty practice designed to support complex care and procedural volume. The practice includes 14 physicians and 14 APPs across general, oncologic, and reconstructive urology. With 28 exam rooms, including 5 dedicated procedure rooms, and in-suite radiology, the clinic is built for efficient, comprehensive care.
Scope of Work
Nurses play a central role in operations, performing independent nurse visits, trial voids, urodynamic testing, and MyChart triage, as well as specialized care such as bladder and chemotherapy instillations, catheter management, and procedural support. Care delivery is supported by medical assistants, nurse technicians, and a collaborative team of nine additional RNs, ensuring strong coverage, continuity, and timely patient access.
