Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
Coordinates transplantation of all recipients. Provides follow-up and care across the continuum from pre-transplant, during transplant and post transplant. Collaborates with members of the health care team to enhance patient care by developing, supporting and educating nursing staff. Makes clinical judgments based upon a synthesis of current research, concepts, principles, theories, and outcomes to solve complex problems. An integral member of a larger interdisciplinary team contributing to excellence in patient care, research and teaching.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing
Preferred Master's Degree Nursing
5 years of relevant nursing experience required, with at least two years in transplant or critical care or clinical nursing experience in transplant or critical care preferred
Program development Preferred
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Blood and Marrow Transplant Upon Hire required
