Schedule: Part Time, Variable hours and Variable days

No Weekends.

Job Summary

Directs and maintains accountability for computerized cash register. Exhibits initiative and knowledge to assure operations carry on in the usual manner in management's absence.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains cashiering system. Coordinates and trains employees/volunteers on cashiering system and serves as a resource for issues that arise.

  • Provides direction and support to employees/volunteers and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Participates in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities related to gift shop services.

  • Prepares merchandise displays to attract the attention of prospective customers.

  • Assists and/or maintains inventory, buying product, sales and/or payroll processing.

  • Generates reports of sales, inventory and trending as requested.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1 year of relevant experience retail sales

Preferred

  • Associate's degree Business or Related field
  • Experience in marketing.
