Job Summary
Supports management in the oversight and completion of quality neurodiagnostic procedures and patient care throughout all service lines. Provides leadership and accountability within the front-line team to support their daily needs and growth. Acts as a collaborative support line between the front-line and management teams to provide continuous improvement to the neurodiagnostic program.
Essential Functions
- Acts as front-line change agent for team on continuous improvement efforts
- Assists in creation and coordination of weekly and daily assignments for team
- Performs department quality audits/assessments
- Leads Apprenticeship and new hire task fulfillment efforts directly with management and clinical specialist to direct preceptor expectations and fulfillment
- Assists in drafting and advising on policies and procedures
- Leads advanced procedure team efforts; i.e., performs when necessary, trains staff, collaborates on process improvement, performs quality metrics, etc.
- Performs all responsibilities of neurodiagnostic technologists within the department as needed
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Associate's Degree or equivalent Neurodiagnostic Certification or Associates Program
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of relevant experience Progressively increased responsibility in performing neurodiagnostic procedures Required
- 3 years of relevant experience Skills, knowledge, and abilities typically gained through experience at facilities of comparable services to Corewell Health and other NAEC Level IV Epilepsy Centers. Required
- CRT-Electroencephalographic Technologist, Registered (R.EEG.T) - ABRET American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist Upon Hire required
- CRT-Long Term Monitoring Technologist, Certified (CLTM) - ABRET American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist Upon Hire preferred
- CRT-Evoked Potential Technologist, Registered (R.EP.T) - ABRET American Board of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist Upon Hire preferred
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross required
