About the Location
Lakeland Niles Hospital is an 89-bed hospital serving Niles and the surrounding communities with primary care and specialty care. The hospital provides all general community hospital services, including cardiac care, obstetrics, surgery, emergency care, radiology and laboratory services, endoscopy, and a Sleep Disorders and Treatment Center. The Buchanan Area Health Resource Library gives community members access to up-to-date information on health topics. Lakeland Medical Suites, Niles, located across the street from the hospital, houses specialty physician practices and services.
Scope of work
Cleans and disinfects assigned work area according to department procedures. Removes medical waste, trash and linens. Performs the interim and restorative maintenance of the health system's hard floor, carpets and upholstery according to procedures. Fully functioning in one area of responsibility. Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting and stocking of patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to established procedures. Responsible for the removal and disposal of linens and waste streams.

Qualifications
- Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
- public service and or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience Preferred
