Our top priority as a team is to be honest, creative, and transparent as we guide the homeowner through their custom home project. Our team feels like family; we grow our crafts together, we tackle roadblocks together, and we collaborate to provide a transparent, high-quality experience for the homeowners we serve. Who You Are:

You're a Project Manager who utilizes your 5+ years' experience in residential home construction to be the primary owner of project execution. As a leader of this crucial function of our operation, you coordinate homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to stay accountable to budgets, schedules, and project goals. If you are a Project Manager who takes ownership of results, works proactively, and understands how field decisions affect profitability, this may be a role you excel in.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will own the successful execution of custom home builds from pre-construction through completion. Specifically, you'll:

  • First and foremost, align with our company mission and values

  • Manage the master schedule, confirming subcontractors, inspections, and pre-requisites, to minimize downtime and recover quickly from delays

  • Protect project gross margins by proactively identifying variances, understanding the approved estimate and project costs

  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, holding trade partners accountable to quality standards and timelines

  • Control the quality of work to satisfy plans, homeowners' specifications, building code, and internal standards, driving corrective work

  • Communicate with homeowners throughout the project, providing updates, managing expectations, and documenting commitments and changes

  • Take ownership of scope changes, obtaining pricing, securing approvals, coordinating subcontractors, and communicating schedule impacts

  • Document schedules, logs, plans, selections, change orders, inspection results, and key communications in our project management system (Buildertrend)

  • Close projects through oversight of final inspections, internal quality controls, documentation, homeowner orientation, and warranty handoff

What You'll Get:

  • Belonging to a creative, passionate team that learns together

  • Working in an environment where we collaborate and you feel like family

  • Competitive salary

  • PTO plan & paid holidays

  • Health insurance coverage

  • Group life insurance

  • Coming soon! - a 401(k) plan match

If you're a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who brings residential home construction know-how to the table and is ready to help bring homeowners' dream homes to life while supporting a collaborative team, we'd love to start a conversation!
