On behalf of our professional services client, we are searching for a dedicated HR Professional to join their team. This role will be the internal culture champion that will manage all key components of the HR Function as a department of 1 supporting 60 employees. This role is perfect for an HR professional that is passionate about people and culture, loves to connect with and get to know the team personally, and is ready to roll up their sleeves to get the work done.
In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:
- Use your bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred), 2+ years of broad HR experience, strong attention to detail and relationship building skills to execute daily HR activities
- Understand business needs and compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations to employ HR best practices
- Use your keen attention to detail and follow through to oversee benefits administration and open enrollment process, and administer the 401(k) enrollments and needed changes
- Manage the payroll administration by ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws and addressing payroll inquiries
- Use your strong relationship and emotional intelligence to lead employee relations issues including investigations, discipline, and separation in compliance with policies and legal requirements
- Foster a positive organizational culture aligned with our values, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and encouraging employee engagement and morale by helping to plan and execute employee engagement events
- Serve as a talent connector by managing the employee hiring and staffing processes which includes job postings, resume reviews, and initial candidate screening to strengthen the talent pipeline
- Partner with leadership to develop hiring plans, participate in campus and professional recruiting efforts, and strengthen the brand in alignment with its culture and values
- Enhance the employee experience by designing and implementing impactful orientation and onboarding, while also administratively supporting existing professional development programs for career development
