The City is seeking a Benefits and Personnel Coordinator to help with the day-to-day operations of Human Resources. The application is available at the Community Development Office or online. Deadline for acceptance of any application form us noon on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Supervised By: Assistant City Manager
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Assistant City Manager, contributes to the City’s risk management, loss control and human resources activities. Coordinates recruiting activities. Maintains personnel files and tracks employee accruals. Assists City staff with personnel policies and procedures and related inquiries and assists in maintaining employee and other personnel records. Performs responsible clerical and secretarial work in support of the City’s human resource activities. Assists in recruiting activities. Contributes to and follows guidelines of a centralized purchasing policy and related responsibilities.

The employee is occasionally required to attend meetings, make presentations, and to take and transcribe meeting minutes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a business office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
