The City of Big Rapids is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent, full-time. This is a full-time salaried exempt position. Minimum requirements:

  • An Associate’s Degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, biology, chemistry, or a related field is preferred.

  • Six years of wastewater treatment and equipment repair, and maintenance, including supervisory experience.

  • A current Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Class A or B wastewater license.

  • The City, at its discretion, may consider an alternative combination of formal education and work experience.
