What do we need:

Business Support Materials (BSM) advisors provide guidance, training, and enforcement related to Amway's Quality Assurance Standards (QAS). This position requires an advanced acumen and demonstrated critical thinking skills; therefore, at least two years of experience as a BCR or BSM advisor is recommended as a minimum threshold for the role of BSM Advisor II. The role necessitates strong communication and collaboration skills; effective time management in balancing travel commitments, a heavy BSM review workload, and Approved Provider consultations; and strong analytical skills in calibrating and applying the QAS and Amway Rules of Conduct (Rules) to nuanced content produced by IBOs and Approved Providers. This role will serve as an initial point of contact for IBOs and APs, at times in person, to ensure compliance with Amway's Quality Assurance Standards. The role reports to the BSM supervisor and requires frequently use and application of the Code of Ethics, Rules of Conduct, and other Amway policies, processes, and guidelines.

What's special about this role:

The BSM Advisor II ensures that the content of training, education, and motivational materials developed by IBOs and APs complies with Amway’s Rules of Conduct and Quality Assurance Standards. BSM Advisors handles reviews and case management and helps develop and deliver training. This position reflects the next step in the progression of BSM Advisors and requires working with APs and IBOs to ensure all content within a BSM is compliant. Negotiation skills are critical in this position for managing objections and effectively creating acceptable solutions or compromises. This role regularly interacts with high-level IBO leadership, representatives, vendors, and internal and affiliate staff on BSM content issues.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience working within a customer support/sales environment.
  • Three years of experience as a BCR Advisor, BSM Advisor, BSM Rules Administration, or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate training, educational, promotional, motivational, and digital content for compliance with Amway's Rules of Conduct and QAS Content Standards.
  • Manage content reviews and casework from intake through resolution while meeting established service level expectations.
  • Identify non-compliant claims, representations, and messaging.
  • Have a thorough understanding of BSM policies, content standards, and acceptable representations of the Amway Opportunity.
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and compliance guidance to IBOs, APs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Exercise sound judgment when interpreting policies and recommending content compliance matters.
  • Manage stakeholder objections and negotiate compliant solutions while maintaining positive business relationships.
  • Deliver training related to BSM requirements and QAS Content Standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure consistent application of Amway’s Standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and stakeholder experience.
  • Build strong partnerships across functional teams and foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
  • Support departmental initiatives and strategic objectives that strengthen compliance and protect the integrity of the Amway business.

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Knowledge of IBO Rules of Conduct and Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Travel– up to 30%.
  • The ability to communicate with diplomacy, professionalism, and tact. Particularly in conflict resolution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately convey complex distributor business issues with non-distributor entities.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple requests and projects simultaneously.
  • Have a passion for helping others.
  • Fluently write and speak Spanish.
