What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Systems Analyst to join our MAGIC Annuals team, supporting the system that calculates annual bonus & incentive programs. You’ll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and a software development team, investigating system behavior, translating requirements into actionable technical solutions, and improving the platform's reliability and quality.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Software Developers, business partners, and other analysts to ensure enhancements, support requests, and system improvements are clearly defined and successfully delivered, while helping the team modernize technology, improve operational excellence, and responsibly expand the use of AI-enabled tools.

The ideal candidate enjoys working across teams, building strong partnerships, and finding sustainable solutions to recurring challenges, with the opportunity to influence future processes and drive innovation within a highly visible business area. Travel is occasional, approximately 1-10%, primarily for collaboration with global teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Investigate production issues and support requests using SQL and system analysis techniques.
  • Analyze data and system behavior to identify root causes and reoccurring issues and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and long-term solutions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, translate, and document requirements for enhancements, changes, and bug fixes.
  • Champion security best practices and enterprise governance standards, including access controls, data handling, vulnerability remediation and safeguarding PII
  • Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, support implementation, and validate completed work through testing.
  • Collaborate with other Systems Analysts to promote standardization and best practices, and explore new uses of AI tools to improve analysis and efficiency.

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong SQL experience, preferably within Oracle environments.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, testing and validating solutions, and supporting development on agile teams, with strong communication skills working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with API and event-driven architecture, process automation, and a quality-focused, cross-functional collaboration mindset.
  • Experience managing applications through their full lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment, support, and retirement.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools and practices for systems analysis, documentation, or development, applied responsibly within enterprise policy.
