Job Title: Regulatory Technician I

Department / Division: Global Regulatory Affairs/ Research & Development

Pay Grade: NX2 10

Salary Range: $23.43/hr. - $27.33/hr.

Location: Ada, MI

What do we need:

This technician will work closely with a team of toxicologists and regulatory analysts to support product launches. These daily tasks include preparing shipments for clinical studies, processing registration documentation and organizing final toxicology reports. You will also prepare, organize, monitor and notarize regulatory documents to support product registrations and international customs clearance of products. This role will have you collaborating with a variety of Amway stakeholders regarding safety, regulatory, and export issues, along with preparing weekly reporting for Global Registration Analysts. Additionally, you will provide research and review of product portfolios for urgent issues to Toxicologist as needed. Your ability to work collaboratively will be valued in this role as you support toxicologists and regulatory analysts at different stages of product development. Specifically, you will play a critical role in preparing samples for shipments (label and package prep), tracking clinical studies and scanning/filing final reports.

Required qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Must be able to meet certain physical requirements such as occasional lifting of 25+ lbs and standing for prolonged periods
  • Computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe (helpful)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Michigan State notary a plus (will sponsor notary application)
  • Ability to occasionally flex for early morning meetings

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Regulatory exposures helpful
  • Computer skills to include an ability to learn and use job-related specific applications, software and databases
  • Collaborator/team-player
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve along with attention to detail
