What we're looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Systems Analyst to join our global supply chain team. In this role, you will be a key partner in supporting and enhancing our JD Edwards (JDE) platform, which is the backbone of our worldwide sales and distribution operations. You will focus on improving efficiency, automating processes, and ensuring the smooth flow of transactions between our warehouses, affiliates, and partner systems. This is a critical, on-site role based at our World Headquarters in Ada, Michigan.
Success in your first year will mean gaining a deep understanding of Amway’s unique inter-company processes, mastering our sales order transactions, and being able to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues within our global JDE environment.
Day to Day
- Collaborate with global business teams in US, Europe and Asia to understand needs and provide system support.
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to sales orders, purchase orders, inventory transactions to keep our supply chain moving.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and design solutions using JDE tools like Orchestrator.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories for our development partners.
- Participate in testing for system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on JDE Sales, Logistics and Inventory processes for projects and initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst working directly with JD Edwards.
- Functional knowledge of JDE modules, specifically Sales, Logistics and Inventory.
- Demonstrated experience in documenting requirements, supporting users, and troubleshooting system issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business, or similar field.
Skills to Be Successful in the Role:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with JDE Orchestrations, User Defined Objects (UDOs), or Object Management Workbench (OMW) is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or finance processes within JDE is also beneficial.
